Why don't we have access to every game chat log when we need it?

Today I got reported for harrassement. While I'm sure I didn't say anything offensive. Well that's not the very problem. I just wonder why we can't read chat log after a game, just to make sure we're not guilty, or just to quote if we ever want to contact support, etc.

I've thought about this myself. I'd love to look at my own chat-log, & be able to point out things that were said to me, or another. It would be nice if you could save the chat-log via Notepad download. Like a little option on the bottom right you know? something that saves to your desktop.

I would settle for just having CTRL+C working inside the client chat window.
