Honor system just doesnt feel satisfying anymore.

When the honor system got released I was actually pretty hyped over the fact that I my honors could actually give rewards to people I enjoy playing with. However, I have never seen a SINGLE person being level 3 honor, which makes the new system almost meaningless. Sure, it is nice to be seen as the most honorable player of the team , no doubt on that, but other than that there isn't anything special. I think that adding a little bar which is telling us how far we are from the next level of honor would be awesome, and it would give players a motivation.

Why the hell do you people think it's going to be quick to level up honor lol

Like seriously it's something that's supposed to take the course of an entire year not a couple months

More than likely the honor tiers are based on some sort of weighted average scored over time, so that getting 1 honor per game playing 1 game a day for 30 days puts you at roughly the same level as someone getting 1 honor a game playing 10 games a day for 30 days. In the first example, the person would earn 30 honor / 30 days, while in the second example he'd earn 300 honor / 30 days, but both are treated roughly the same. This makes sense since honor isn't about winning or losing, nor is it about how good you are at the game, but rather, how you make the experience for the rest of your team.

I personally don't think that's how the honor system is intended to be used. I treat the new honor system and the rewards that come with it as a **BONUS ** to being the type of players Riot strive to encourage. Meaning, if you're consistently being a positive influence to your team, you have the chance to receive extra stuff that others may not get.

There's a difference between being rewarded for good behavior and exhibiting good behaviors just to get the rewards. There's nothing wrong with the latter, but if you start complaining about not getting rewarded, then you're missing the point of the honor system.

In 6 months it will all make sense and these complaints about how long it takes will seem silly. It's not supposed to be something you bounce up and down in.

I know it will get addons, but I'm not too impressed with it ATM. For one thing, we need to be able to honor opponents(I know, I know, that's somewhere in the works) but more importantly, we should be able to honor more than one person per game.

Honor shouldn't be a contest or an MVP award. If you feel that more than person was fun to play with, made great contributions to the game, etc etc, you should be able to honor them all.
