Well ill try to keep it short.

Banning accounts for flaming is just wrong and here is why:

if Riot bans an account, what do you think will he do next ? right he will get pissed as fuck and start leveling a new account with such anger. and guess where will he unload that anger?,.....ingame ofc.

so instead of banning him from typing in chat for a huge amount of games, they just banned his account instead and made him lose money (skins, champs, ... ) Tyler1 is the perfect example

but Riot is okay with that, they even support that with lowereing the exp you need to hit 30. because every most of the banned players that a leveling a new account will buy double exp boost to hit 30 as fast as possible. and they may even buy some champions and skin they used to have.

so Riot earns a huge amount of money for banning accounts.

Dear Community, do you think Riot is doing it right? i dont. it sounds more like Riot is becoming Blizzard 2.0 since they canceled the development of soloq

Most players that get punished reform, and the number that ever reach a permaban is very small. If they simply did not punish, it would be considerably worse as there would be little or no deterrent. They used to do stacking chat restrictions (effectively permanent for those that keep stacking it), but it didn't work; those players often would just resort to other forms of toxicity when chat wasn't available.

If chat restrictions worked on those people, they would never make it to a ban.

Bans are not a money making scheme. If you won't reform, they don't want your money. Toxic players are bad for business.

Its even worst, I had IRL friends that got perma banned or semi banned and what they do is go on their other accounts and troll feed until they got unbanned, making other players get banned because of their actions, and lets be honest since 2 years ago riot is all about the money, dynamic queue was implemented because if you play with your friends you are more likely to buy items/skins etc, riot has make it clear by their actions that they want money not a good game or a good community, and for those "reformed" they just create other accounts and troll on those i know this from real life friends that do that exact thing, so yeah it looks like toxicity has gone down but trolls goes up.
