Mute All

For those of you who thinks that Mute All is the best option to prevent other players from getting toxic and throwing reports in your face, it's really not. It's actually just the opposite. Not communicating with your team, and not being about to reply to your teammates when they're asking you something can actually cause your teammates to think you're screwing with them, and encourages them to report you in the end if you make mistakes.

For example, maybe you're lagging, but from the perspectives of your teammates, it looks like you're just running around randomly and purposely feeding. When your teammates ask you what you are doing, instead of being able to tell them that you're lagging, you don't type anything at all, which causes them to think that you're ignoring them, and feeding on purpose.

That will very likely result in 4 reports coming in your way at the end of the game. But that was just an example. It doesn't even have to be because you're lagging. It could be anything. But the point is, not communicating with your team is not the best way to prevent toxicity. It just fuels it. Only difference is, you just won't be able to see it.

Who cares if they throw report at you for mute all? I dont remember Refusing to Communicate being a report option anymore. Just because someone throw random report at you doesnt mean that report is valid or result in any punishment. Else every single player would be punished at some point or another.

Half the time people don't have anything worth reading. Pings are enough to communicate.

if you were lagging im pretty sure 90% of people would type "im lagging" or "lag" or something in the chat box even if they had everyone else muted, and everyone mostly uses pings now.

I dont mute all because sometimes people say funny stuff but if someone feels like in order to keep a cool head and stay focused they need to mute then at this stage in league it not detrimental. We got pings for everything.

I'd rather have 4 false reports filed against me that will be quickly thrown out than risk getting toxic and having any valid reports filed against me.

I'm not the person to mute all, but that's what I think the counter argument would be.

Legit I ended a game 2-3-44 as nami, and still got reported, Then a player added me after game to tell me over and over to "kill myself" and said he really hopes I actually do and that im being immature, All I did was play safe under tower and protect the adc, we didnt get ganked, we were always pushed getting ganks and winning. These people cry about anything and everything and throw reports your way if you do anything in the slightest. I say mute them all, Gonna get 4 reports everygame anyways. Thats how league goes Report system is broken, ive been punished by a 4 man premade all reporting me because one of their members lied and over exaggerated the situation. Then you cant forget they go to all chat for sympathy and beg for reports from their enemy. Anyone who uses all chat to ask for reports and say this person did this and so on. usually is the toxic one and lies. Ive had someone all game be extremely toxic cursing saying to all of our team to kill ourselves being a complete dick. Then before the games over he goes into All chat and says "Please report them guys, They were really mean to me this guy said this and this :(" When in reality it was him saying everything he told the enemy. Guess who got reported by the enemy, The innocent ones and it wasnt me, As I stay out of chat and ignore everyone and their stupid "Why?" and comments.
