My problems with players that take long gaps.

Look at my Graves game. This Veigar started trolling from minute 1 by buying Doran’s Ring as a support. This guy cannot land any skillshots and proceeds to int all game and troll. Speaks french all game so he escapes all verbal banning because Riot’s system only bans English bad words.

Can you ban this player? Why are players allowed to take 7 days gap then come back and then troll and int without any punishment? He went 0/9 last week too.

PUNISH PLAYERS THAT TAKE A 7+ DAY GAP. Most of these players don’t care about the game. They only come on to League just to mess around in ranked and ruin games. Any player that takes a 7+ day gap should be punished with fast rank decays and 1 hour low priority queues. These are not League players. They main other games and only come to League to ruin games for others and escape banning because Riot’s banning system is full bias towards words rather than actions. This punishment should not affect any player that is facing a 14 day suspension because they obviously can’t go on.

Also if you look at my Ezreal game, you can see the Master Yi player. He took a 12 day gap before he came onto that game and proceeded to go afk because he inted a few times. We only won because the Kassadin is a beast player.

I am sure you guys faced the same problem. Most players that trolls on purpose and makes you lose the game or goes afk, are players that takes long gaps because they are not League players. They don’t care about the game or any player playing the game especially in ranked. THEY MAIN OTHER GAMES INSTEAD.

Waaah people have a life during holidays and cant play 20 games a day. Punish them with 1-hour queues and ranked decay because they aren't spending every waking second on this game. [cass-cry]

Bro some people do other stuff. You can't punish people for taking breaks. You can't punish people for not being hardcore players. Right now its preseason, so I'm taking a break from this game and not playing as much as I usually do. Should I be punished for taking a break on a game I otherwise spend too much time on?

First of all; don't Name & Shame. While you aren't explicitly listing players' screennames, you are still saying "look at my match history, look at x Champion" - and that is entirely the same offense.

Considering that League of Legends is played across multiple regions, I highly doubt that the IFS in NA can't read other languages.

Why do you think players should be punished for taking breaks? As far as I see it, you're misdirecting your anger at something that isn't actually a problem.

Your beef is with trolls, not with people who take breaks.

Not all of us live off other people. some of us work 6 days a week and then the 1 day off we do have we slept all day from a 6 day work week full of doubles...so next week when my 1 day comes up to play league...When life finally gives me the time to play....I HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR...cuz some arrogent fuck thinks he better then me.....but i play 5 games a week, while you play 20+ a day, yet we are still the same elo....Fuck out here! (edited after post) your failure to climb has nothing to do with the fact that you most played champion in ranked is Illaoi with only 6 times played......no im sure its the person who only plays 1 time a week. and i see that you only get to play 1 game a day, so even mathematically speaking if you where trying to climb you might wanna spend your 1 game a day focused on 1 champ. instead of focused on someone you have no control over in turn taking the focus of a "REAL LEAGUE PLAYER" away from what he is ment to be doing in game.

Um... what? If I'm reading this right, you're saying that EVERYONE who doesn't play a game of League at least once a week is not a proper League player (whatever that's supposed to mean), and these players only come back to League to troll and intentionally ruin games? Do I have that right?

Like, holy cow, have you ever heard of correlation =/= causation? Just because the players that intentionally ruined your games took a 7+day break does not in any way mean that ALL players who take a 7+ day break only come back to intentionally ruin games. Not everyone who takes a week long break from League comes back only to intentionally ruin games, and not everyone who intentionally ruins games even takes a week long break between games (unless they get banned).

So, when my work & family lives take precedence over my gaming life, I get banned? That is a negatory. This idea is possibly the worst I have seen, in regards to curbing toxicity.
