At 9:40 gametime, Darius decides he's done playing. The first message I sent him(and sent period) starts then. Here is a YouTube recap of him 'playing'. He voted no to surrender 4 times. This person reported me for Verbal Abuse, then I was restricted. I sent him 10 total messages over about 1 minute, while he wasted 30 minutes of my life, and now I've lost my honor. Genius system Riot.

Your mistake was you typed too much, spammed the chat

yes he was afk but all you had to do was say to enemy team " we have the one afk" thats it.

asking for reports is also an offense,

he might have been afk but you were abusing the chat, just cause someone does something wrong doesnt mean you can flame or abuse them for that mistake all you want

so next time you get an afk, just say what u need to in one line to enemy team " we have an afk" and just leave it be, report him after game and move on.

You start getting penalized yourself when you fill up the chatlog.

For one, an afk is automatically detected by leaverbuster. There's no need for anybody to report them for afk if they get picked up. Reporting for AFK is when someone sits in fountain and runs in circles to avoid that detection. On that point, it literally only takes 1 report for someone to get picked up. There's no need to ask other people to report them. As someone who has participated in the tribunal when it was live, I've personally seen way more often than not players who only have a single report from one player show up. It's unnecessary to "team up" on reporting.
