Sometimes I wonder about this game, are there just people out there that just try to tilt someone on purpose because they think it's enjoyable to hurt someone? Or are there just jerks who literally will call you out all game calling you trash and shitty, but when you decide to speak up and say something back, they immediately go to the report button? Why do these people even exist!? And why doesn't riot have a report option for "these" situations? Now there are times when I think "yeah, I was kinda toxic." But to a certain extent. There's people MUCH worse. Honestly, I couldn't care less about losing. It's a game. But when it comes to the point where there are reasons for this, or when people start saying you suck or are trash, even going to the point of targeting you only. (And trust me, you can tell when there doing it to enrage you or just because it's strategic.) That's when I get angry, but then when I say something to them, they talk about reporting me. Why can't there be a report penalty for people like that? Why do people like that have to tilt someone? Why can't this game just be peaceful? Call me what you want, toxic, tilted, shitposting, whatever you want. I got suspended because of scenarios like this. You can say I probably deserve it, but it still goes without saying. To answer your question -- because it's a competitive game and therefore someone has to win and someone has to lose. Humans naturally do not like to be on the losing side and even more than that, accept the fact that they make mistakes and own up to it.

Couple that with not actually being face to face with the other individual, and you get this sense of "protection" that makes you feel like you can get away saying things you probably would not normally.

There are report options for everything you described. Just hit verbal abuse and leave in the box what they are doing to abuse you. Such an odd post. Like yeah dude, all of that is punishable, of course! As far as why people like that exist? Anti social media. Being a dick is the norm now thanks to shit like twitter and Facebook. People just love being little shits to eachother when they're not face to face. Look at the contempt we have for one another. It's destroying society.
