Honestly I dont think we should lose lp due to afks losing us the match. We should take 100 of the lp of the person who afked and split that among the enemy team, or something like that. Even if that's not possible, at the very least we should lose a lot less lp when that happens. What do you guys think.
But what about people who DC due to 100% unforeseeable random circumstances? Should they also get 100LP taken away?
And if we don't have a system that punises harshly for DC'ing (which I feel would be unfair), the idea of losing alot less LP will be abused.
People already DC at the start so people can remake games because they're unfavorable, so imagine people DC'ing for their team when they start losing.
And if someone is feeding, won't some start harrasing those players in the hopes they go AFK? or possibly just choose someone at random to harrass?
There needs to be a way to prevent it or even facilitate lost LP, but I don't think that taking it from the person who DCd is the right thing, however it still is a step in the right direction for talks!
