First of all, if you want to keep the image for the sake of discussion, you should edit it to omit the other player's name. Naming & Shaming is against the Boards Universal Rules.
Naming and Shaming
Moderators will look for the following:
- Personal attacks
- Posts that accuse others of causing a negative in-game experience
- Posts targeted at witch-hunting / naming and shaming
- Posts accusing others of malicious activity
- Posts that accuse others of cheating or using illegal services
- Posts accusing others of trolling on the Boards
I've italicized the line that pertains to this situation.
Second, your quotes "oh, racism..." and "racism will help the report" aren't defending yourself, they're levelling threats at the other player. You're telling them that you're going to report them, and that their racial slurs are only going to make it more likely they get banned, and, while that is the case, you shouldn't be threatening other players with reports.
And, lastly, to address your own comment string;
quick edit to this. i never got the "a player u have recently reported blah blah blah" so yeh.... is racism ok?
That pop-up doesn't hardly ever show up, and just because it doesn't appear doesn't mean that the players you reported didn't get punished. Why people assume that that is the only valid indicator of a punishment by this point is beyond me, but, I digress.
Racism, and hate speech in general, is not okay. If a player is reported for Hate Speech, and is found to have used racial slurs in a match, they will be punished with an immediate 14-day Suspension, with the next punishment of any kind resulting in a permanent ban.
In other words, you're taking the wrong conclusion away from something that basically never happens not happening. By which I'm referring to the "A player you have reported..." pop-up.
