Nobody looked at your chat No human banned you It was automated and you can dispute it.

Although it seems as if there is enough evidence to support a ban as you were "semi-salty"

You also asked for bans/reports, and threatened afk, this is not what you were banned for, but it will be what upholds the ban.

Again you were "auto banned" for saying a specific trigger word.

sorry didnt mean to blanket kms into hate speech, it is however considered a first degree offense here. Just as hate speech is.

You have to understand that right now, court systems are finding people who press suicide responsible. And riot can not be known to let people tell others, including themselves to Kys, or Kms

If OP was banned for a hate speech or something else that would have escalated the punishment they would have likely been perma'ed given they already had been hit by several chat restrictions.

not at all, my brother, and diamond 1 duo were both just given 14 day bans over a single utterence of N-gg-r and a single utterence of Kys.

If you have no prior history, hate speech gives an instant 14 day.

OP has prior history. A 14-day ban is not unusual for their situation in a standard punishment. An escalation of punishment is what usually happens with hate speech.

How about YOU "enjoy the ban".

Because everything you've said was ban worthy. You kept harassing your team and threatening your team with your afk. So what did you do wrong? Everything. Is this ban worthy? Yes. The "kys" should be least of your worries. Your main concern should be your attitude towards your teammate. If you continue this path, you can be sure you're heading to a permaban. Because you are certainly toxic. I'd reflect on this if I was you.

No, I know you didn't. Players who are at faults never gets anything unbanned. Moving on from this discussion, though. I said what was needed. Now only depends if you reflect on it not, doesn't really matter. Because in the end, Riot always weed out the problem.

You didn't get banned for your behavior. If people got banned for being toxic, there would be no players left to play the game.

You got banned because Riot knows that a certain number of banned players will reload their new accounts with all new PAID champions and skins. If they never banned anyone, eventually every player would own every champion and their cash flow would stop.

You probably played way better than a premade you were grouped with and they ganged up on you and blamed you for the loss, so you get to be one of the lucky accounts that get turned over.

Just stop. This is a really silly argument. I didn’t pay for my account any more than you did and while I have bought a number of things, I didn’t have to. There’s nothing relevant to competitive play that I couldn’t have bought with IP.

Also, Riot actively discourages people from making new accounts.

Think about it: what reason would Riot have to lie about something like this, especially when they give a player multiple chances under normal circumstances to improve their behavior before permabanning their account? Why should Riot allow someone to keep playing when they have repeatedly proven that they aren't gonna change their behavior enough to consistently interact with others in a neutral or positive manner even if they've spent money on the game? To quote Kei143:

When Riot permabans someone, their philosophy is "the chances of this guy reforming isn't a whole lot, we'd rather not have him in the game". Thus in their eyes, they have already written off the toxic player as a paying client.

From a business standpoint, do they want to remove the toxic guy who has spent $500 but is causing a negative environment for 4-9 other players in every game? Those non-toxics are also spending $500 and probably will spend more, promote the game more when they are enjoying the game AND they won't cause a negative environment.

I personally think it is a fine argument to protect the ones that are paying money and aren't toxic rather than protecting the ones that may pay the same amount but are toxic.

Yes Riot can't stop people from making new accounts but the chronic misbehavers will eventually find that their newer accounts also punished as well if they continue to misbehave.

I already said it, but I'll say it again. They know that a certain percentage of those banned players are going to PAY to reload their new accounts. Maybe you didn't pay, maybe I didn't pay, but a certain percentage of people are stupid enough to pay. If they never banned anyone, eventually everyone would own every champion and cash flow would stop. They can't ban everyone at the same time or it would look too obvious. They have to make it look like they care about player behavior by taking only a percentage of players, almost always the solo players who get picked on by groups.

Let me say this again too: if they actually banned players for being toxic, they would have to ban almost all of the people playing.

I don't know why you keep quoting Riot, as if anything they post is the word of God and must be true. On the contrary, no profit-driven company will ever tell their customers the truth. If they go out of their way to make a post to convince you of something, most likely the opposite of what they are saying is true.

They can't just let people be assholes in their game. These assholes push away others from ever joining by not only making the game unenjoyable for many players but also by sending the message that Riot lets them.
