How Does Reporting Really Work?

When a player get reported, do they immediately "get points" towards being a toxic player?

Is every report individually reviewed?

Do moderators read through chat or watch any of the game?

Are all reports treated equally?

These are just some questions that I've never heard asked and no one seems to have an answer for. I'd love to know how reporting really works.

My last punishment was on October 2016 which was a fair 14 days ban...tried to contain my cool etc and was able to achieve a Honor Level 2 throughout the year until yesterday which i was perma banned a second after i received a key fragment for my ''recent good behavior''...the system is all over the place...if you wanna know more about my experience my story is on the Hot Thread Discussions page named Perma Ban...have a nice day ...hope this helped

  1. Only if it turns out to be a valid report. It begins a pattern and if it wasn't a one off, then it builds up in punishments. There are exceptions.

  2. Yes and no. 1 report from a game will automatically get the game reviewed. Only point to having multiple reports is the comment section and description people might add. I.e. you and I report the same person. You just mark verbal abuse and submit, I actually tell what happened to an extent. It yelps if there is a manual review.

  3. Reports go through the Instant Feedback System or IFS. It reviews the game, mainly chat, and issues punishments or marks if needed. Gameplay reports are harder for the system due to people making reports of feeding when someone does bad.

  4. All reports are taken, only non valid reports get tossed out but that is after the IFS reviews it.

At low elo NOTHING will happen. It is awful down there where every.single. game. has someone who is working against your team from within for the fun of it.

Admins can view the entire active chat history of the game, filter out the irrelevant player feed, and identify the problem

If this post gets deleted, I hit the nail on the head
