First off, this isn't a thread to challenge my ban nor is it a thread to complain. However Riot, don't you think it is a kind of flawed system to ban somebody in the middle of a game and waste time for the other players or potentially make them lose their promos? Again, not trying to challenge the ban. Just saying.
AFAIK the ban kick thing has been the same since the old Tribunal days. When the ban hammer hits, you get the "Player Banned" message in the client regardless of where you are (game, champion select, etc). If you are in game, you should be able to finish the game unless you crash/dc. Then you're on the client and can't do anything with the message in the way. Yes they should change this to have bans only take affect after games.
riot says 'leaving a game in the middle is a big deal. you are ruining the game for 9 other players. unless we do it. then its cool'
