I am about to be banned / silenced for complaining in a game where we had someone who intentionally first picked (on autofill) the new champion in ranked and proceeded to feed their minds out:

I will, in the next day or so, receive an email that I've been banned. The worst thing that I said was "it's crazy that RIot will ban me for saying that someone is trolling, but not them for virtually destroying a game".

That's all. All Rioters that, if by chance see this, are free to look at the chat. To me, this is just crazy. Well, crazy doesn't do it. This is the ultimate level of insane. The fact that you can get banned for simply complaining, not personally attacking someone is just beyond insane.

This isn't right, it isn't fair and this game drives you insane. I never, ever used the word "idiot" or personally attacked someone, rather, their choices & behavior and still, I will be the one getting the ban.

This is surreal and it's so painful to watch -- knowing that I will lose my account for absolutely no reason.

Yes, you can be punished if your complaining is spamming the chat. A few lines is probably not going to get reported, let alone punished. Everyone plays this game and knows the frustrations of certain champions, so (I imagine) players are unlikely to report you for saying how broken a champion is.

That being said:

If your chat is directed at berating someone, you can get punished. If it's just chat, it's unlikely to get a ban unless you've had prior chat restrictions or bans.

Seems like Riot doesn't like it when the players complain in general, which is part of their job, to file complaints and take them seriously. All throughout this thread they just deny deny deny.

You can't get through to them as hard as you try. They're in the pyramid and most of us are stuck at the basin.

Sad they deleted this kids screenshot which should have been taken as evidence, wrong or not, they shouldn't be silencing people and down voting dissent just because it makes them look bad. It happens on so many threads and this is just one example. Entitled to the fucking max.
