I finally broke

This Is Your Dad··2 votes·1,997 views

For the last few games anything that resulted in me dying was labeled intentionally feeding, followed by all game harassment of "we're all reporting you 4 reports = ban" and I finally let all that bs get to me and got myself a chat restriction. It's fair, I just wore down from playing too much ranked I guess, especially jungler, man you guys have it rough. So I stopped responding to "report x for whatever" and will see how that goes. But seriously, it's getting annoying.

What's the point of playing the game if it just frustrates you?

Honestly, I just have a hard time going outside and doing things. I live in a town full of druggies and thieves so I can't make any friends that aren't trying to steal or cheat me out of something. I play this game because from time to time I do have good experiences. I just had a good game last game because we were all a positive influence on each other. This game has the potential to be fun, but sometimes it just all seems to run together on me. The other reason is there aren't any single player pc games out yet that I can really enjoy -.-

Maybe the problem is you have been looking for a video game to enjoy alone when you should have been looking for a community to play video games with. League, unfortunately, isn't a game you play to make friends or meet new interesting people.

Some of the more community driven games probably aren't competitive enough you ( there seems to be some tradeoff here), but there are a few which you may like.

Try GW2: Action combat, decent PVP scene, Helpful community, Great place to make some lifelong friends.

Also just because your town is full of druggies and thieves doesn't mean there aren't good people in it. Try going to some youth group meetings, always cool people there and it looks good on your resume.

Just ignore and mute if you want Reports are useless if you don't have anything bad in your chat logs :D

Yea I know the reports were "valid" I just played too much and the game wore me out mentally.

Why not just laugh at them when they ask for reports , knowing it won't do anything to you and you can use it to report them?

After a while you just get sick of laughing at it. Everyone seems to be quick as hell to start spamming false reports and bullying. That and I'm at finals in college so I'm probably already stressed. Once finals are over I think I'll be a much more peaceful person again.

The only thing you can do is be like me and just begin muting everything and everyone.. Honestly I got up to a 14 day and since I am just muting everyone the game has been much more enjoyable. With things like the emotes and pings my team conveys everything I need to know. It's honestly the only way to just enjoy the game regardless of what others would tell you. Just focus on your play and your plan. Let the rest rage in chat and say ten negative things for every one positive or helpful thing. Or you can follow the advice of everyone here who doesn't like muting and "Just ignore them" but you see how that turns out.

It was only a 10 game chat restriction, and what I was saying was light. I think in all honesty I was waiting for it so I could change the way I was feeling about my games.

If the catalyst to change how you feel about your games is a punishment that's unhealthy. Perhaps you should take more breaks or try the muted games. It seems boring until you make a bad play and nobody says "Stop int'ing"... Or at least visibly ..

Edit: also imho the censorship of the IFS has gone extreme. I got up to a 14 day ban for arguing with my team. Let that sink in.
