My Justified but Unjustified Permaban

Well it has been 3 months since I have quit playing League since my account perma-ban. First things first, the title; I believe my ban was justified, BUT unjustified in the way they banned me. Now I hold nothing against Riot Games or there employees. In fact the support people that helped me were very kind and helpful. Now the reason why it was Justified was, I was Toxic for 3 straight games (Now I don't want to pin this on peer pressure but the people I were playing with was definitely a big impact on the way I was acting, I failed to mention that before but I didn't think it was a big factor, and I still don't think it is); I was very rude, and I even told people to kill themselves because they were doing so bad. Now, I was told that since I told them to Kill themselves that "Its crossing the line"; I believe that, telling someone to end they're life is without a doubt crossing the line. Now, to why my ban was unjustified. There was no warning, usually when someone reports you for being toxic you will receive a notification that you we're toxic and you need to stop or blah blah blah right? And when someone sees this warning they usually will stop and be like "Oh wow, OK I don't want to get banned or anything so Imma calm down and stop". Well I received no prior warning to help myself out. Next, this was my first offense as far as I know; there might have been a mute a while back when I was leveling up, but I don't really remember lmao. So with this being my first offense, and getting insta-perma-banned, it was unjustified. Now the reason its unjustified is because I have a friend who is beyond toxic (that I have even reported him myself some games) where he told people to kill themselves mind you, and he only received mutes. His account atm is unmuted and perfectly fine. Meanwhile mine was perma-banned after three games? Hmmm interesting. Now, I understand the ban, but Perma? I dont think so, I probably would have even taken a month ban, or 3 months like I have already served. Now I do have multiple accounts, and I do play still sometimes. But I just cant take it to myself to spend money on the game anymore. As much as I would be willing too, its just not the same. I will post chat logs unlike I did before because I was too embarrassed, well its not anything I'm proud of but, maybe it will help us have a deeper discussion on this. Without the whole chat logs from other players yes it looks like I ws bad but, I remember for a fact they were bad too.

You basically went so far over the line you earned a permaban. Usually, there is a warning. But you spewed enough bile and hate to run straight up the ladder to a permaban.

If those words you've blurred out are f##got and n##ger, it's no wonder you were escalated to permanent ban. Using targeted hate speech coupled with harrassment for people to commit suicide is pretty heinous.

Ya I'm not seeing how any of this is unjust. Seems like this only makes Riot stance on toxicity more clear. How/Why people assume things like this need to be said to another human being is just sad. I would be surprised if you act like this in real life which again just shows what a terrible/sad person you must be. Hopefully you learn that things like this is never tolerated and hopefully it doesn't get you hurt or in jail.

I understand that you feel like the standard of justice isn't being consistent but unfortunately no system of justice is ever 100% fair. Riot has made it very clear that people who engage in "hate speech" (which telling people to kill themselves falls under) will receive permanent bans as a first time offense. Riot even spells this out very clearly in their terms of use (which we all agree to every patch.) The fact that your friend has not gotten banned is just because he's lucky, not because Riot is intentionally being unfair or unjust to you.

Using a real world example, let's say both you and your friend are selling heroine on the street. You get busted by the cops the first time you sell heroine but your friend is able to sell for months and he doesn't get caught. The cops aren't intentionally being unfair to you, your friend is just getting lucky.

If it makes you feel better your friend will eventually get permabanned if he continues that behavior.

Also, the reason why you might have gotten banned so quickly is the severity of your chat. I've seen people say "kill yourself" once or twice and the system doesn't punish them (at least not yet.) Riot does understand that everyone is toxic once and a while so I do think there is some leniency if you only have one toxic game once and a while (though Riot has never explained how much leniency there is in the system so maybe I'm just blowing smoke.) In these chat logs pretty much every single line is you being toxic and it seems like you talk non-stop throughout the game. That's like selling heroine right outside a police station, you're just asking to get caught.

Unlike many people here ^^^, i agree with you that you should not have been straight out perma banned with no prior warning. Obviously you were being extreeemely toxic, but i see a problem that there is no warning to allow the toxic players to see (hopefully) that what theyre doing to people is wrong , and give a toxic player a chance to reform. If you were given a warning/ non perma ban/ lowprority queue type thing, and then you continued to be toxic, i think only then you should be permabanned.
