Can someone explain why people are allowed to spam "KYS" every game without punishment?

It's completely ridiculous that people get chat banned for impolitely asking people to play the game correctly, but other people can spam "KYS" without any repercussions.

Getting really tired of constant trolls, afks, and feeders that tell me to kill myself when I communicate on how to win, while knowing that if I dared say anything back, I would be banned.

Within the last week I've reported 5 people for telling me to kill myself, and no pop up message of punishment at all. Nice work riot.

You aren't.

You only get the notification if your report was the one to trigger the punishment. If you didn't get a notification, that's why.

Can you explain why lots of people (including you) seems to think "If I click ! and I don't get a notification, that zero punishments are put out for anything forever and always. Thus anyone can do anything and nothing bad will happen."?

You know the report system is not there for you to receive satisfaction from knowing you got someone punished right?

Report because it was the right thing to do, and forget about it.

Those are paying customers. No reason to cut off sources of income.

Yeah... welcome to league, bro. It's community is only slightly more sane, mature and decent than the average skinhead get together.

What I'm saying is people are trash and Riot looks the other way. Just... mute everyone at the start of the game. Every game. No exceptions. They'll still hear your advice (thought I'd wager you will still not get anyone to listen to you... even if you're right) but at least you won't hear their garbage and rage. Or better yet... don't play league. League is kinda awful. I think most people just play it outta habit these days, not enjoyment.
