PSA: I don't have to buy a skin to prove I'm good with a champion (Explicit language)
This is an open message to all players who take skins too seriously. Pardon me for the swearing, Riot, but it needs to be said.
Skins are a novelty, something to be bought and enjoyed for the extra variety they bring to having a champion. So why the hell do we have tryhards judging you for not having a skin? Only because their favourite streamer/YouTuber has a skin on that champ? Because they see it so much it's become a cosmetic meta? (Yeah, there are cosmetic metas set by those dicks) The strangest thing is that it's not just skins in general, but very specific skins, ultimate and legendary skins in particular. Legacy skins? Well, very few.
For example, I'm an
main. So I have to deal with these Trick2 fanboys running after me with pitchforks like a lynch mob because I don't own the goddamn paid visual update skin, childish shit. I even met a
main who dealt with this shit from Gross Gore fanboys hounding him for not owning the Pax skin.
Grow. The. Fuck. Up. Skins do not equal skill, only equal how much you as an individual love using a particular champion and want to show it.
Edit: And already the dislikes are rolling in from people who can't take the truth, no wonder this community is turning in the TF2 Hat community.
