Does Riot still tell you if a player you reported got punished?

In Season 5 I remember getting messages about people that I've reported being punished for what they've done, but now that S6 started I haven't seen any. If this isn't a thing anymore, please for the love of god, bring it back. Last game there was a Katarina constantly telling people to kill themselves then talking about how bad everyone else was even though they were borderline kamakazeing into the enemy team. As a player that had to suffer through that I want to know that they're banned or not. I'm not here to push my report the the doorstep of Riot but rather to ease up those affected by the toxicity occurring in League right now.

(And people throw Yasuo players shade for their toxic behavior...)

Automated ban system will send you message when it punishes players but only IF your report was the last one that triggered investigation and got that player punished. Don't worry about it too much and just keep reporting any toxic/negative players you encounter , they will eventually get punished :D

Yes but only if your report was the one that got him investigated. Otherwise you just need to believe in the system.
