The "I don't care" attitude has gotten so much fucking worse since Dynamic que.

Sorry for the foul language, but ever since the introducion of Dynamic que the "I don't care" mindset/attitude has been growing & growing. Groups of 3-4 who treat the game like a normal, give up after 1-2 mistakes & say "I don't care" because the only reason they're playing ranked is Dynamic is easier for them to secure the roles they want than in normals.

It's doing my fucking head, sure when the old ques were a thing it happened occasionally. but it seems to be a more common occurance now, I'm not sure if It's just me & recent badluck with dynamic but holy fuck I miss the more competitve feel of old ranked que.

Pretty sure it has more to do with how quick teams snowball a lead then it has to do with Dynamic queue.

The 'I don't care' mindset is strait toxic anywhere, normals, ranked, whatever.

And I mean the 'I don't care' mindset as in giving up first blood and 2 more kills to the enemy laner then just going "Lol, it's just X, it doesn't matter," and feeding their butt off.

If it's acceptable to act like that in normals because it's not ranked, why do I even play this game?

And for clarity sake, I am not promoting the flaming of teammates or taking the game too seriously, I just want people to at least attempt to win and not throw because they don't care.

I makes no sense to play 4 man ranked just to secure roles, because you could just play normal draftpick.

It's because of the snowball (effective and perceived)

I just had a really bad lose streak (got demoted 2 times in less than 24 hours). I can say for sure it's because of the "I don't care" or "idgaf" attitude.

Mostly they're all just flaming other players despite they're doing really bad. Or sometimes they don't communicate, yet being toxic when they start talking (eg. Me asking the person to play safe / group, and they just reply with "stfu" or "report sona toxic").

I assure you, it's so bad I cried for the intensity of those kind of player. Also it's freaking RANKED. I got demoted twice in less than 24 hours, so "They just wanna have fun" isn't a logical reasoning.

Really? If anything, I've had more of a "never surrender" attitude in most of my games- struggles to the end. Everyone has different experiences I guess.

If ppl ever cared before, they stopped caring simply because there's just no more fun out of playing the game the way it's intended. Players prioritize their pleasure above all else, including winning the game if winning =/= fun. They strive to win if it's fun while doing so, but if that doesn't hold true anymore then they'll try to get pleasure in other ways, and by then they naturally don't care about the game anymore.

As others have said. This is due in some part because of how snowball the nature of the game is currently. An unfortunate fallout from balance changes from the pro game level. Which should not be confused with condoning, particularly because while snowballing plays a part that doesn't also factor in other non LCS level issues like trolling contributing to said snowballing and how this affects the players. Still it feels different from Season 3 and most of Season 4. I rarely ever saw people then with the sort of massive deaths in such a quick time like I see now. Not sure if it's a matter of item changes, new champs, etc but it is odd. It also does not help that unfortunately a fairly significant portion of the fanbase confuses experimenting and learning in normals as a license to violate EULA.

I run into people who care too much in normals. Every game there is a rager.
