normal for your team to flame you when you inevitably die? normal for them to blame you for any and all things during the game?

nvm your up against your counter. nvm that the enemy jungler has ganked twice while your jungler hasnt ganked once.

It's your fault because reasons! Why aren't you outplaying a 2 v 1 under tower against your lane counter and a ranged jungler? honestly I wish this community was less toxic sometimes.

Yes, it's normal. No, it's not okay.

If the jungler is applying pressure bot lane, taking dragons, counter jungling, killing mid lane repeatedly, etc.? Let it happen, because your fed ADC/Mid/Jungle will kill their fed top laner. Farm the couple jungle camps in your own jungle on top side when you can just to stay relevant, but stay on the top side and don't take his bot side camps (chances are he isn't farming his top side if he's applying pressure bot lane anyway).

If your jungler is not helping you, not applying pressure elsewhere, not counter jungling, and being toxic? Start taking his camps instead of laning. Leave your lane, let the enemy laner push it all the way to the nexus towers if you have to. Just take all the jungler's camps that you can, especially his buffs. The gold and experience from farming the jungle will help you stay relevant in the game and also make you not feed the enemy laner. It'll also take away options from your jungler, which forces them to either counter jungle, help you fight back in lane, or apply pressure elsewhere on the map.

Sounds like you are playing Top or Mid in this case? Yes it is very normal sadly. :(

One way to counter play this situation is; As you kinda mentioned; "try" to stay near or under tower to farm. No longer have the mindset I need to "win" lane or engage in trades and win.

On a side note, as a Jungler myself, keep in mind that if the enemy Jungler is pressing your lane and camping you, then they have little to no presence elsewhere on the map. This means (Or at least I would hope) that your Junlger is applying pressure on a different part of the map. If you are being camped on TOP lane, perhaps your Jungler is pushing BOT lane and trying to get 1st tower and Dragon. Also keep in mind that flaming your Jungler is not a good idea either. Spam pinging "asking for assistance" wont help the situation but it is ok to ask for help. Junglers are not there to win your lane and often it is a better idea to try to snowball a winning lane then it is to try to recover a losing lane. It would make more sense for your Jungler to get themselves and 2 others in BOT lane fed.

Just something to keep in mind. :) And also, don't get tilted yourself to the point you throw. Intentional or not... its happened to me several times... getting tilted because im getting fkced in Top lane I start even playing worse and throwing my game unintentionally.

It depends. People have different experiences with the League community, and some day I'll do some research into why. :P

For myself? It happens occasionally, but it isn't that common. I've normally found that if it STARTS it can usually be dealt with with friendly conversation, and that tends to lessen the flaming (or negate it entirely) for the rest of the game.

Your mileage may vary.

try the following first before you b!tch about how your jungler isn't coming:

  1. Proper wave management
  2. CSing under turret
  3. Build tanky
  4. WARD
  5. Abandon tower
  6. Roam
