Let them give themselves a "self mute" button. Where they can press a button which disables them for talking for a period of time. I recently got a chat restriction because of some games (rip hextech:<), I don't like being toxic but im very passive aggressive and i think my own toxicity could be solved by having a self mute button. Time to upvote again, I still haven't seen anyone give a reason why people shouldn't be allowed to force-mute themselves. I'd like to see a Rioter's input on this idea at some point, honestly.

ive heard from the pre automated system days that a "self mute" is off the table because it takes away from chat restrictions as a punishment.but lets be honest, they arent a punishment. the real punishment is the loss of ranked/hextech rewards, and for the people who "taking away from it as a punishment" would actually matter with. just getting a punishment, and now having a label is enough

There is a feature, when you enter the game hit the "tab" key then click to mute everyone. Not very hard.
CrazFight 1 votesNo no.. your muting others but not yourself, even tho everyone else is muted they can still see what you type. Also a force mute button would make it so you can't unmute yourself for a period of time.
