In game issue gave me a priority queue

I was not aware of it because the warning symbol beside the PLAY button wasnt yellow when i logged in. After trying to reconnect several times everyone started to rage at me and my friend even though we did our efforts to help get back in the Rift. After that fiasco ended i get Priority Queue but my friend does not????? 20 minutes long... and this is only my first offense and trying not to ruin the game for others.....
