You'd probably get better results in the recruitment subboards as well.
Finally, even if you can get reported for playing off-meta, the system has the ability to filter out false reports, so you won't be punished for playing off-meta alone.

Q: Can I get banned for choosing a champion or strategy that is outside the current meta?
A: 100% no. Choosing a champion or strategy outside of the current meta is not a factor we take into account when reviewing accounts. On any given day tens of thousands of players are making unusual picks in the game and they’ll never receive penalties in any form.
Simply picking off-meta won't get you banned, but they're more fun when the whole team is on board. That's easier to do in a premade.
Anyway, send me an invite. No promises about when I can play right now, but I'm not opposed to playing with off-meta teams.
