botted accounts

i was looking up one of my teammates on na.op.gg and found he had recently botted his way up to lvl 30 before jumping into ranked.

i know this because he had a pretty strong game 12-5 in silver 4, but on his way to level 30 he played nothing but games vs bots. in those games he never scored above 6 kills, averaging probably 3-3 and always used the exact same items purchased in the exact same order.

then i went further down the rabbit hole and looked at his teammates in those games, curious to see if real players were actually losing to intermediate bots. but no. every single teammate in every game is another bot. all using the exact same build order each game all struggling to score more than 2 or 3 kills vs intermediate bots.

hundreds of bots. probably thousands or hundreds of thousands if you followed each one to all the players they grouped with and continued. its really quite amazing.
