hextech crafting is a disaster

got on my b3 smurf today to get some S's for hextech. it only makes sense - it is easier to score an S in bronze than silver.

apparently i was not the only one who had this idea. today bronze is harder than silver 3.

this hextech thing is a nice idea but it strongly promotes smurfing. i feel sorry for the true bronzes. there are going to be 1 million smurfs among them every day now.

It promotes even more toxicity.. As a trying to reform player, it's really hard to when you're playing in your silver ranked games and everyone is trolling you and talking shit to you when you're having a bad game.

Honestly riot needs to either disable the system til it goes live in other regions, or disable it in ranked only.

You can only get 4 chests in a month.. and you can only get it on champs you own. Once you have them on that champ, you can't get it anymore until the season ends. Chests and loots can't be transferred either.

Now the question is, how much IP do you have on your smurf to have so many champs. Maybe you would have had the smurf account for a while now and have a large champ pool. But the question is (and its an honest question), why would you try to get content on your smurf instead of your main?

Also, because you need to own that champ first before getting chests, it pretty much gates people from making smurfs. Unless they go buy a RP to buy a champ, inwhich you get a better deal just by buying the chests outright from the shop.

"It promotes smurfing by letting you get free shit on your smurf"...well ok.
