Why I think your addiction isn't Riot's problem when you are banned

A F2P game with thousands of employees and regular legal and technical maintenance requires a source of income. Skins are almost the only source of income Riot gets. They are almost purely cosmetic (only a few seem to make abilities hard to read or make you feel more threatened). You don't ever have to buy a single skin to play the game.

1. New skins are released every few days, and they're becoming better and better looking. There's no reason to force you to buy the same skins over again if they're constantly producing new ones.
2. Many opportunities exist for you to attain free skins and emotes through chests. This offsets the negatives from having microtransactions/gambling in the game.
3. Nothing from the loot chests or purchasable content adds any advantage to your skills or abilities. There's no reason for you to buy a skin unless you like it.
4. Almost every ban here has been a justifiable ban. You violated the ToS. You call Riot a corrupt company in the same sentence that you ask why money doesn't make you exempt from the rules.
5. Addiction can occur over any product. I could be addicted to ice cream and become fat and have medical problems from consuming it. But it doesn't actually have a withdrawal effect and the addiction manifests because it is replacing some other part of my life that I'm unhappy about. It is your responsibility as a consumer to not become addicted so long as the goal of the product was not to allow you to become addicted.

Instead of burrowing yourself in misery, seek actual help. People will always give you the tools to fix your behavior, so long as you are willing to use them. Thanks!
