I've been getting trolled and harassed by players for things I question.
Recently when I play bottom late I'm getting matched with supports that
1: Pick a random champion 2: Don't buy wards/sight stone 3: Don't buy gold income item
I don't know high level play. Is this a thing in high elo? When I question them about it I get a "stfu" or some negative comment. Is this normal player behavior?
Kim Chi Vendor2 votesPlayers that are willfully bad aren't worth playing with or respecting unless ELO is on the line in ranked.
Next time you get a supp like that just play hyper aggressive and back off every time, get the supp caught out and killed then roam on him. No reason to put up with that, you aren't gonna have fun or get better cause they won't have enough gold to get items at the right time and set up plays. That's a game where you practice low percentage roam plays to get better.
Club Stratus1 votesI've been only playing ranked to try to advance but its near impossible. I normally solo queue. The only time I can win games if when I queue with 3 or more people. My solo queue games over the past two weeks have been a disaster. Even the games that I do very well I cant carry because of those 1 or 2 people that don't understand what is going on.
Kim Chi Vendor2 votesThe way I like to climb in low ELO is to pick a tanky support that peels well or a utility backline that peels well. Adding wards and peels to a low ELO game tends to be really strong and you rise quick cause people get caught out less. Not many people queue for support and I feel Riot rewards dedicated support players with easier climbs.
Not dying is very OP in low ELO, I just won 10 ranked Silver games in a row with Tahm Kench doing this, and he's the worst supp in the game right now.
Club Stratus1 votesI have had 3 specific games in the past 2 days that I have gone a minimum of 7-0 about 15-20 minutes in a game. 1 as vayne 1 as kog maw and 1 as kennen. I specifically ask the team to group with me because I know I can help everybody out but it never works. I lost all 3 of these games.
I don't understand how to carry. I find it hard to carry when people stay in laning phase the entire game and dont have awareness to whats going on in the game besides the action that is visible on their screen
Kim Chi Vendor2 votesEvery time someone runs up to farm minions in a dangerous spot in low ELO hit them with an alert ping, then 3 seconds later another ping if they don't back off. Give a ping every 3 seconds but don't spam it 5 times in a row unless it's an emergency cause that's BM. If they chat ranting at you don't even say anything just keep pinging. The social pressure of standing in the wrong place in front of 4 people will move them back.
A ping every 3 seconds will annoy them a little but they will back off. Ping spamming OOP noobs who farm solo midgame in dangerous spots is super important.
If you see that someone has ADHD or some other sort of mental defect where they can't pay attention (this is super common in this game it's filled with sugar eating weirdos) the pings can really help.

At the same time I feel like I've done similar things to this. When I jungle I watch the map. I ping jungler ganks to my team and still people just sit there like nothing is going on.

Phenyxs2 votesYes. I tried to request wards and been swore at till game ends. Suggested stuff like plz don't teemo adc. Rank play in bronze is lost and gone. Matchmaking is broken. My record says ok stats but still loose and loose. Bttm goes 1-20, 2-16 in less then 20Min. Come on. This isn't one game or 2. This is every game. Done. Can't do it.

EVEN IF what Riot says about the troll games "evening out" is true (which it is not) the net effect is that you've learned skills for a troll game, not a real game.
Then when you are in a "real" game you have the double duty of having to figure out, "is this player just trying out something new, and genuinely trying to win" or is it just another troll.

Gold income items are put into place because supports do not obtain gold through CS. Sightstones and pink wards are put into the game to help keep map control. Without these items you are not playing as well as you could be. Generally supports get these items as they have low beneficial stats to the carries on your team.
Is this correct or no? I'm Really asking because this is my knowledge of the game. If i'm wrong I want to know
Kim Chi Vendor3 votesYou're correct basically, a lot of times people play bad builds / off meta on purpose as a built in excuse for their ego for being a bad player. If you die as no sightstone WW support then you can blame it on that, if you die as Braum then you're a bad player in their mind.
It's just something mentally weak people do, if you get a couple players like this in champ select dodge, they are bigger losers than trolls usually.

Thats only if support doesnt wanna farm and is willing to sacrifice himself. Support however is allowed to farm, and if he decides to farm he doesnt need gold income item

Sure you can steal cs from your adc, but it's going to tilt people to the point where they don't play well and it's a bad strat for climbing in low ELO.

Well i didnt say i do it. I am willing to sacrifice myself for the team every time. Thats why i played healer on WOW. Thats why i kinda main support. But i said u are ALLOWED to farm. I personally always get Sightstone first. Hell once when i played ADC i bought it on MF cause we were lacking vision but we were ahead and i didnt wanna risk throwing.

Dude i was saying that i am one of players who are willing to play supportive role. That i always played supportive classes/roles. Thats why when i play support i build for the team and arround team. But not everyone is like that. Im trying to point out that even if i always stick to meta support role, i understand and dont judge people who dont wanna buy supportive items. Its their choice and right. As for sightstone. Well, if u ever play support, look at your match history. If u dont have 1 ward per minute u wasted gold on Sightstone. Trinket allows u to put 1 ward every 2 mins.

Not only is the gold item giving gold but it can also double as a ward AND allow your adc to get the farm he/she needs to be viable in mid-late game

It all depends on player. Look, there are players(especially in low elo) who never ward. They buy sightstone on support but never use it. Which is waste of gold tbh. As for gold income item. Its not just about having it, its about knowing how to use it. If u gonna buy relic shield but never use it, hell its better to buy Dorans Shield. Also many times when i was in silver i would play for example Leona and execute minions with Relic Shield and ADC would rage and go afk for stealing his minions (???)

Ye but there are people who like to experiment with stuff. Ashe AP is actually viable, believe it or not. And you could build Brand AD if u want. Although i would rather go for Essence Reaver instead of Infinite Edge.

There is a reason it's considered unethical to run experiments on people without their consent, and although, this isn't the same type of experimentation, the same hold true.
Don't act dumb. It's pretty standard that you don't hold people hostage in a team game.

86.5% are straight up trolling/cheating/mult-account whatever you want to call it.
I had a game recently where the team just happened to let minions almost destroy turrets TEN PLUS TIMES, they just kept "grouping" which really involved them doing nothing while they enemy team split pushed. They didn't know, but then again, NOBODY placed EVEN ONE WARD. It wasn't a real game, because nobody is this dumb.
So telling those people to get a turrets WILL NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER other than to tilt you and get YOU reported. That's why you shouldn't say anything. Just ping it once and move on, because they aren't getting banned. (.....this year)
