Toxicity in games and Riot going about it completely wrong

Since the majority of toxicity in this game comes from frustration and a feeling of helplessness do to the fact that you are literally stuck in games even when everyone is trolling or toxic. To punish frustration in a highly competitive game only causes more frustration causing more toxicity.

For example, one person has a bad game so everyone harps on him/her causing that person's frustration to escalate yet they cant put down the game like every other game because they are literally held hostage by the Leaverbuster system and have to play through the toxic game since most teams like that never surrender. Then after the match even after doing nothing toxic and being harassed and trapped in the game with these people the harassing party uses the automated report system (since the real tribunal has been taken down) to punish them and give them a warning simply for having a bad game since the automated system simply goes off of number of reports and not if the reports are valid. (So who are the real people that need punished?) Then that person frustrated by being harassed and punished simply for having a bad game goes into their next game so frustrated the first wrong thing turns them toxic and they repeat the pattern and on and on it goes.

So if Riot really wants to help fix toxicity they need to bring back the real tribunal ran by honorable players and make it easier for people being trolled to leave completely toxic and lost games. Giving people affected by the automated report system hidden punishments and long term strict punishments like this will accomplish nothing but making more people frustrated and toxic. Riots whole "I'm not sharing my toys with you cuz i don't like you" mentality doesn't solve toxicity it just shows us how toxic riot itself can be. Don't fight fire with fire Riot come on now your smarter than that.

Ok stop right there.

His teammates are frustrated because of a "bad" teammate's mistake and started the harassment in toxic ways. That "bad" teammate moved on to next game with frustration, witnessed something go wrong, then turned toxic.

That teammate is in the same position as those who harassed him/her. I don't know which highschool teaches the [frustration + source of blame = toxic] formula, but that's not how this world works.

You may argue that majority of this community acts that way, and that's the very first misunderstanding people have made that leads to the situation we're in now: while this game is free and has little requirement to play, it isn't for everyone. If they are unable to cope with what they encounter in this game in a way that follows ToS, then perhaps this game isn't for them. This gaming environment isn't suited for most of the ppl I've run into yet they're sticking around before they make sure they can behave before they queue up for a match, and that puts us in where we're at today.
