Regarding naming policy

Would it violate the ToS if I name change to "High IQ Autist"?

It's no secret that many people misinterpret autism and confuse it with retardation. I'm trying to prove here that autistic people are actually smart and are able to compete in a highly competitive game but I'm wondering if the name is considered offensive.

I agree with HalcyonDweller in that I would just err on the side of caution and not pick that name due to the risk of people assuming that you're trying to be offensive and stuff like that. I get what you're trying to do but in this case the risk just outweighs the benefit in my opinion.

It's hard to say for sure, people who don't have the context on your statement and who misunderstand about people with autism might think you are trying to make an ironic joke.

It's possible for people to take it the wrong way and get very offended. But on the other hand you make a great point about raising awareness.

A good rule of thumb is if its controversial, keep it out of a game that's played for fun. People come here to relax, not to be political. It's unfortunate, but even some of the people who get what you're doing might not like being reminded about something they would rather not think about while playing a game recreationally.

Personally I like your idea. But I suspect others would be offended by it.
