So I Guess Flaming is Just Talking in General...

I had a match where Evelynn would make questionable moves and die so she would say in all chat "Im so bad lol" every time and since I played eve once, I wanted to tell her when is a good time to go in, she took it as flaming, and asked me if I was often for asking "you only play eve" twice since they didn't reply so maybe they didn't see it. And after the match ended wanted everyone to report me for flaming, I defended myself and said what I told you. THEN they told me that I am silver 5 and don't know anything. so who was really flaming here? This was a first to happen to me so it really took me aback to be targeted as a flamer only to be flamed afterwards..

Flaming is against the rules whether you are being flamed or retaliating with flame.

The best option is to mute them and report them at the end of the game.

I just told some kid to seek help irl after he died once and told me to go kill myself over and over. I was reported by him and I recieved a 14 day suspension automatically on one report. Welcome to riot in 2018. You literally cannot say a single thing back to a player who has the power to report you. You either have to take the abuse and mute, or reply back and risk being the one punished. Psychotic system.

So... What is the question? You got flamed, happens to everyone. You didn't get banned or even a chat ban. What exactly you want to know?
