Why is RIOT bsing me?

So in September or at the end of August, I got a 14 days ban because I said to my enemy laner "kys", I was pretty tilted to play against a Teemo that got babysited and had a bunch of ganks(yea I played safe, farmed and called for help).Just to be clear, this was the only ban/restriction that I got the entire year/season.I was very good/honorable the entire time(just this one time that I got pretty pissed of).Now the thing that I'm very mad about is that I was one of the first to get honor lvl 5 and these past days I got myself in Platinum too, and now the reason that I can't get my border is that I said one mean word to someone??? After all the honor (got 400+/150+/200+/100+ honor in the old system, don't remember the order though) that I got and all the hours struggling to get to platinum, I'm ineligible for rewards for something stupid like that?

Turns out encouraging suicide is both horrific and punishable. Who would have guessed?

Encouraging another player to kill themselves is not a minor violation -- you're actually requesting that they end their life over your perception of their performance in a video game. This is flatly unacceptable, and no amount of good behavior exempts you from the punishment in this case.

There are two possible perspectives here, each with their own version of "something stupid like that":

A) Riot took away your rewards for a stupid reason: In this perspective the stupid reason is the long term goal of having people not encourage self harm over a video game.

B) You threw away your rewards for a stupid reason: In this perspective the stupid reason is the short term goal of venting by telling somebody to kill themselves over a video game.

Now here's a question for you: Which of these two versions of what happened does really sound like "something stupid like that" was involved?

I agree with you on a personal level, as the word is nowadays often used and for me it doesn't really carry a lot of weight. However, when you play league you automatically agree to the summoner guidelines or rules (idk the official name). For Riot, all bad words, trust me all of them, are unacceptable. And some will even lead to a instant ban, without even needing a report. Such is the case with that word in particular. I got banned to recently for saying it, in a joking manner mind you, but still seen the rules it's just not allowed. I'd just advise not to chat anymore only for things like calling for baron and stuff. Try not to be too mad IG, it's just a game yo :3
