Boy, did I make a mistake trying ranked for the first time.

I've yet to even hit the minimum five games to be placed and I've already taken more abuse than all the games I played at getting to level 30.

Did you know that muting the team because you're tired of reading "ur bad" and "u suck" is a reportable offense?

/golfclap fellas. I wish I could type out the thing you really deserve to be told. But I want to keep my account. But if you think real hard, a difficult task for some of you, you might summon up the words I'd like to use.

Didn't you know Ranked is a toxic waste pool and that if you jump in at the wrong angle you get more acid? Seriously, everyone knows ranked is terribly toxic. I wait until stuff has calmed down before jumping into ranked, usually because there are less idiots.

Muting itself isn't reportable or offensive, beeing a b*tch about it on the other hand is. If you're muting someone, do so and they won't ever even know.

Maybe Its because all I do is play ranked and have built up a tolerance to it but have not noticed any changes in toxicity.

Since your doing placements the games are really random. I am sure you have people who might be in promos or close to promos and you being new (at least to ranked) maybe you are not playing at the level these players are used to. Not that it is your fault, but I do hate when I am playing a game with a player I can tell who is freshly new to ranked or placed way higher than they should be and I am in my promos.

I would say it gets better after you get placed, but meh.... it doesn't really. I have noticed sitting between Gold 5 and silver 1 to 2 toxicity does not seem to be as bad. Maybe I am just getting lucky though.

Muting won't get you into trouble. In fact, they've removed "Refused to Communicate" from the list of report reasons.
