Nothing is safe from a 9 man report

I got 9 man report for toxicity when I didn't say a single toxic thing in the game. The system doesn't work when people bandwagon and decide one person needs to be bullied the whole game like I was. And no I didn't retaliate with toxicity. I complained to the enemy team that my team was flaming me and they just bandwagonned with my team.

It's only a chat restriction at least, my team threatened to have me banned. However I'm not happy with the new auto penalizer.

Also I want to note that I did not get chat logs for that game I was just penalized with no evidence to support it.

As far as the system cares, 1 report = 9 reports. Something in your behavior is what triggered the system.

I see no chat logs so I can't agree that you, "didn't say a single toxic thing in the game". Previous observations of your behavior on the boards also leads me to be skeptical.

Contact support to get your chat logs if you didn't get them.

Good thing 9x reports don't do anything. So no, you did earn the chat restriction regardless if you got reported by one person or nine in that one game. The IFS picks up on consistent attitude through your time duration with Riot Service. Each report flags something if it's against Terms of Use. If consistent enough, you'll earn a penalty, depending on the severity of the offense. Like if you say something against the zero-tolerance policy, you can be instantly banned for 14-days.

But here, you've been reported enough times to get that chat restriction. So your so-called "9 man report" had very little to do with your penalty. Your penalty came from your consistent negative attitude, meaning you've been toxic repetitively enough to get that penalty.

So no, EVERYONE and EVERYTHING is safe from a 9-man report. However, ongoing toxicity isn't. Big difference.

But your overall attitude you've provided in the past shows that you're quite the toxic individual. So whatever you did for that chat restriction, you definitely deserved it.

That's what would have done it, but it would have done so regardless of 1 report or 9.

At least you know first hand that complaining to the other team doesn't solve anything. Just mute whoever's flaming and move on.

If you got chat restricted and aren't seeing your logs, you can relog from the client and it will pop up when you log in.

The whole "9x Report = Ban" myth really needs to die already.

Nine reports carry the same weight as one report. You know why? Because all the report system does it flag the damn game in question for review. Then it goes to either the Automated System, which looks for key words and phrases that are punish worthy or it goes to Riots enforcement team for human review.

TLDR: The report system itself doesn't ban you. It just tells Riot that you need to be looked into as a potential problem. If RIOT sees you as an issue, THEN you get punished.
