I was mid kat and the opponent was GP mid. After he died he kept calling me silver or silver noob. He kept on talking shitte about our team and blamed his bot for losing the game. He kept calling me silver trash and that I would stay in Silver forever. He was really offensive the whole game. I want to ask if there are a lot of people like this person in league or is this your first time seeing something bad like this? I just hate how toxic players talk negatively about someone's rank.

The fact that this person took the time to temporarily close the game window, look up your MMR, copy the link, and then re-open the game to put the link to your MMR...wowza

there are many.... Many... MANY players like this in league of legends. Making it really hard to actually enjoy this god forsaken game.

My most recent game of the night was actually as Kat vs a GP mid. I did pretty bad overall that game and got carried, but I definitely outdamaged him hard early game, so I can see one getting a bit tilted.

I've actually seen such a scenario countless times. It doesn't make any sense, but obviously when you destroy someone, it's because you're super Bronze and they're amazing. That's just how classic 'trash talk' seems to work in this game. Beating someone means you suck. Duh

However, the ones that'll go through THAT much effort are really the minority. If you're mad/bad/crying about the game to that extent, it's usually just while someone's answering you and letting you continue your rant.

People get mad in this game all the time, myself included. How people handle it varies dramatically. Most of the time it's really just close minded tilted people trying to argue a point. Sometimes someone's just seemingly delusional and making up stuff to help their story. Then you (usually rarely) get ones like what you encountered who go above and beyond to troll, without the slightest hint of any logic at play.

But yeah, rank, per game kda, anything that seemingly justify someone's actions will often be used. Like someone can legit walk down mid feed 3 kills and then yell at you all game after you die once to the fed laner. Or an assassin late game can get a kill and brag about their contribution while quoting everyone's kda. It's whatever number or stat can help them troll in the moment. It usually gets to me as well, but I'll still say you just can't take those situations too seriously.

He was just trying to get under your skin. You'll run into this again so just keep in mind it's not personal. He would do it to anyone. It happens to all of us. Just ignore it. Interacting with him can hurt your report against him because a lot of responses can be seen as instigating, which will result in both of you getting punished. Don't defend yourself against anonymous strangers online, there is literally NO point.
