I really hate the reporting system!!!

I am disappointed with the reporting (suspension) system of RIOT. Today I was playing ranked game and I was outplayed by the opponent. I got blamed by my teammates, so I was raging. I was toxic and cursing our jg and adc. At least I tried when our jg would throw the game. Our adc reported me cuz i was toxic and now i cant play lol for 14 days. I think this is unfair. If u look at my history, i was playing well in rank games. Players would honor me for carrying sometimes. I know that i was toxic and cursing too much. BUT JUST BEACAUSE I WAS RAGING AND CUSSING DOESNT MEANT I GET A INSTANT BAN!!!! I FEEL BETRAYED AND ANNOYED BY THIS. RIOT YOU GUYS SHOULD UNDERSTAND OUR FEELINGS. EVERYONE CAN RAGE AND BE TOXIC WHEN SOMETHING DOESNT GO WELL WITH THE GAME. AS A PLAYER OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS I THINK SUSPENDING SOMEONE JUST CUZ OF ONE GAME IS UNFAIR. I KNOW THERE WERE MANY TIMES I WAS TOXIC AND GOT IN CHAT GAME BANS. HOWEVER THAT WAS A WHILE AGO. PLZ READ THIS!

I know, so unfair that you get punished for breaking the terms of use that you agree to every single time there's a patch.

Mind posting your chat logs? or do you agree they're toxic enough to warrant a punishment

People don't get banned just for cussing. Posting the chat logs would allow everyone here to help out in finding the problem and maybe eliminating it before it ends in a perma.

are you aware the system works in tiers?

  1. 10 game chat restrict
  2. 25 game chat restrict
  3. 14-day ban
  4. permaban

Punishments are handed out based on consistency x toxicity. which means you either have to be consistently toxic (mild negativity), or if you go to the extreme and use hate speech. Most the time, toxicity is somewhere in between.

Anything that can yield a punishment will move you up the ladder. There has been people whom got permabanned due to being consistently toxic.

So for you to get a 14-day ban, you either have had a 25 game chat restrict before, or you were using hate speech and it escalated to a 14-day ban.

BTW, you can drop punishment tiers, you'll just have to play LOTS of games without being validly report (proof of reform).

Seriously, not able to play league for 14 days just because of one rank game is unfair. If you guys actually thought how I would've felt in the game, you guys would know how unfair it is. Just because the teammate copied and pasted my toxic words doesn't mean that i have to get 14 days game ban.

Thanks for your responds, I really appreciate it. I totally regret myself being toxic to others just because I couldn't control my rage. I didn't know that it was 14 bans right after 25 in game chat ban. From now one I will play like Jesus, Buddha or Gandhi. My in-game behaviour was the major problem of this. I am still disappointed to the other players who were also toxic to me just because I fed the opponent. However, if this situation occurs again in the future, I will simply mute them. Thank you guys.

I totally acknowledge that there are times I get mad and curse to my teammates. But there are reasons for it, its not just me who would feed mid Draven as katarina. If you look at my history I played a lot of ranked games recently and my teammates would appreciate me for doing good or ok. It is unfair to restrict a player for 14 DAYS just because of one ranked game.

keep in mind the next stage after the 14 day ban is a perma ban and can come from any for of flame or toxicity. after that there is no coming back everything will be gone forever
