Give me a reason to not afk in this match

(Moved here because apparently Gameplay isn't the right place for this)

My bot lane flame each other, Xayah drops the "kys" and leaves, lux flaming, vi flaming, getting beaten up by a tank who outdamages me then ganked my a skarner.

Why should I stay in this game? I know that Xayah won't be punished. I know that Nami won't be punished. I know the Lux won't be punished. I know the Vi won't be punished. I'm safe to assume I won't be punished either.

Give me one reason, anyone, one reason why I shouldn't leave this game, and go play something else?

That's funny, I added the afk Xayah and she's still not banned. Good system!

inb4 "they give you chances" fuck that, if someone says "I'm afk fuck this support" they should be permabanned.

Afk is a different system from IFS. If the Xayah did say "kys" and was reported after the game, they will most likely be punished. That punishment may be a chat restriction or a ban.

Its actually very likely that the Xayah would be punished if he did say "kys". The only real reason to not afk though is to avoid the Leaverbuster.

If you've had multiple leaver buster LPQ's, then you can be subject to harsher penalties.

So if you're not in the middle of a 20LPQ or shortly after one, then you don't have to worry about a ban from leaving a game.

Most cases, "kys" is pretty severely punished.

Lol yeah, that is actually kind of sad. They lose their shit over “kys”, “f@$&t” and “n@&$@&”. But if someone tells you “I am going to find you and kill you” or “I’m gonna find and rape you/your wife”. Riot won’t even bat an eyelashe.

They can't get punished if no one reports them. If you quit you forfeit your opportunity and your right to report them.

Going AFK in a game with players breaking the summoner's code only enables them to continue doing it without being reported.

You cant see a chat restriction, or the looming threat of punishment if it was a first offense. Nobody gets banned for that unless they have already been restricted, but 'kys' tends to help people skip straight to a 24-game CR.

If there is one thing the system does do well, it is punishing that sort of chat abuse. It is pretty basic, even to a computer.

The system seems to require two comments of kys based on a post I saw like 10 minutes ago. I'd imagine the Xayah said it once.

The reason you shouldn't leave the game? Because it's against the rules to AFK and you will end up with LeaverBuster at least. Who wants to spend all that time staring at that popup box when you try to queue up? As for reports not working, got me there. They don't always work, and they don't always work right away. Again though, that LeaverBuster, low priority queue works just fine.

Game is dying, get out while you can! Riot refuses to acknowledge they made a mistake with stopwatch and won't change it. Everyone has a piss poor attitude cause you can't kill anyone anymore or if you try you get outplayed by a free item. I imagine that the free 1 charge Guardian Angel is next.

I could see things like the free stopwatch really fucking with the balance. Maybe they need to abide by the KISS rule (keep it simple stupid), because yeah, things are getting a little unfun for some reason. Maybe you pinpointed it. I've just never bothered making an opinion on balance because I just excuse everything as my own lack of skill.
