Script Detection

Hey Rito, I think you should integrate anti script ware in the client. I had no idea scripting even existed until recently and I been playing for years. It really makes me want to quit playing knowing how many cheaters out there. Like toxicity is tolerable but cheating is a last straw. If the reason your not putting in anti script ware is to reduce client size or bug/security issues then I have another idea. Create a separate optional application for players to install that can detect scripts. This app should auto force closed league if a player uses scripts or record the I.P address of the person using the script and send it to Rito. I am sure many people would love this. Also you can incentivise it by awarding IP to players who catch scripts.

Scripts are currently a thing, I think. Reaction scripts and combo scripts annoy me. Problem is alot of these scripters just claim to be high elo players but their decision making is horrible and so is their aim. For example a yasuo can't seem to hit a tornado, constantly dashes through minions putting themselves in a bad position but somehow have perfect timing on their Q, instantly windwalls abilities and dashes through you at the first tick of your skillshot cast time.

I think someone should put out there a guide to help us low elo players to tell when someone is scripting vs smurfing.

This instant feedback system still bans scripters, but they are banned in waves. This is so that they won't discover what triggered the system, ie if they installed multiple scipts, but only one was caught, they won't know which one was the one they got caught from.

If you read here long enough, you'll see plenty of people complaining about being busted for it. Riot catches them.

The issue is, many scripts do not interact with league at all. They just look at what's on the screen and view information that the player already has access to. Then it mimics mouse and keyboard commands.

Riot would need to program their client to scan all the processes currently running on the machine, and ban based on that. But a process name is an easy thing to change, so I would imagine that scripts have safe-sounding names such as "service host" or one of the other many processes that are commonly found in a normally operating computer.

100 % agreed, I decided not to play lol anymore only because I was so nerved in an otherwise obviously won game, which would lead me to promote, but then I had to spend another 4 hours! to achieve the same point, only because somebody was having fun with his script! U will close that company Riot, when u don't get rid of that people ;)
