Below is a chat log from a game that got me permanently banned. I am just kinda at a huge loss wondering how flaming is determined... using profanities is one thing.. how is over typing flaming when I can be muted?

the deal is, I have been told to Kill myself, and some of the most toxic things ever that I never have said to another player, and yet I'm the one bein banned. so long to hundreds of dollars and hours of game play...

Seems unfair

Profanity doesn't matter, for the most part. Riot doesn't care if you say "oh shit", only if you say "you're a piece of shit".

To answer your question here; use the mute button when your team starts acting up. Typing like you do doesn't help anything, is distracting to you and your allies, and takes time away from the game at hand to keep up with.

Is there only one game over this ban ? If you already received punishments like a 14d ban before it can make sense. Here is a chart representing the punishment tier for toxicity in chat :

So yeah even if we've all seen worse than what you did, you're still harassing camille.

If you look at the chart you'll see that multiple valid reports can add up over time until one day you advance one step in the punishment tier, so even if that chat log isn't that bad if you have a sufficient history of toxicity over the past months or so it's deserved. ( even if it was not extreme toxicity, minor toxicity just adds up over time if you don't change your behavior, to the point that one day the next step is a permaban )

I assume that it's not the first time you're having a similar behavior over a game; so you should knew that you were about to get permabanned over just a small mistake.

Yeah it's definitely punishment worthy. If you've had a 14 day ban you should have been informed that your next punishment is a permanent ban. Just stop bickering with your team. That'll solve the ban problem in the future. It won't solve the shitty teammates problem, but hey, bitching about it didn't solve it either.

TBH I do not see ANYTHING here what deserves a ban, the most offensive thing was calling somebody useless.

Is this the only game in your ban log?

disclaimer, I am making this guess based on previously shown/verified reports, riot is 100 percent open about what they consider toxic. I don't have an opinion on your ban so don't attack me on this I marked the potentially offending rules with my commentary. (written in cursives)

having said all that, I would never give a perma ban on this.
