Well folks I just received this in my email:

So, I want to thank you Riot and support staff. It has been a stressful few days for me. I understand that mistakes happen and you were doing what was in the best interest for the community. Unfortunately, there were some very negative results for some people. Yet, you looked into it and found the error. It sucked for me but I'm glad it's resolved. Thank you.

They won't tell you because it would still give the real scripters an advantage. But be thankful Riot corrected the mistake. c:

I wouldn't be thankful, I'd be annoyed. You, an innocent person, were flagged by their system as breaking the TOS. They send you an email or a support message stating something along the lines that they extensively audited the account and found that you had broken the rules, only for them to later on actually check to see whether you had broken the rules and found you innocent. All the messages where they say they check the stuff before banning, they don't, they just go off whatever their system says. You missed out on time you could have been playing, you were stressed out from the ban. You deserve compensation, really.

This is what happens when you let automation make decisions that PEOPLE need to make. Imagine if the court systems were run by programs and robots. That's how riot currently does their Player Behavior & Moderation punishments.
