I have nothing better to do in LoL so i play a game,i say nothing the whole game to anybody.
I see a lewd comment made by someone in-game then in post screen, I decide to file a report and in this report i tell this player to 'die of cancer and AIDS'
does that constitute toxicity? if I am thinking these bad things but do not outwardly say them to the player.

If you threaten to do something illegal and Riot saw it, I have no doubt they could take action. For just being toxic, I don't see them caring; the player you're ranting about isn't having to deal with it, just the Rioter that reads it.

but I included the word 'hope' meaning i WISH ill will upon them not that I will cause ill will upon them.
this is undoubtedly the sentiment of many lol players
Yes, you would get banned for being toxic in the report. If league of legends is the only game that permanently bans you for typing, ANYTHING goes.

nah not worth the time of the player support. If it it does become bannable then this would be a pretty cool precedent.
he worded it poorly. but i think he's asking "if i'm toxic in the report comment box will riot ban me" the answer to that question. no. exceptions may be made if you say something like"if you dont ban this asshole i will hunt him down and murder his family" but other then that. feel free to go all out in the comment box. provided you don't actually say it in chat
To the best of my knowledge, no. That doesn't make the comment any less tacky or unnecessary. I strive to be the sort of person who chooses not to say things like that in general, character being what you do when no one is looking and all.
