This Honor System doesn't just work as it should

Hi. One thing that I've been noticing and that was kinda predictable to be honest is that the honor system doesn't work as it should. Most honors are from carrying the game/have a nice score or simply premade honors and not for actually being friendly, tilt-proof, hepful or sportsmanlike. In other words, you barely get honors from actually being honorable. This issue is not caused by how the honor system works but rather by player behavior and decisions. It doesn't seem too much of a problem but the fact that I've actually seen toxic players with honor Lvl 3 made me kinda triggered xD This is just my personal experience and something I wanted to share. Thanks for reading.

I play Support most of the time and still get honors. I usually never get a "good" score, nor carry game, and always play Solo, so it obviously not the case. You just need to give a reason for people to honor, never expect it just because you think you deserve it! Also premades cant just spam honor to each other because thats not how it works anymore!

Despite honoring among premades will reduce the effect of the honor, duoq-mates will always honor each other. This is kind of dumb, especially for the players in the team that deserve to be honored.

Just wanted to say, I don't always honor the person that carry the game. Btw I usually play ARAM. There was one or two game where the carry was being an... well toxic sorta annoying the opposing team and didn't honor them because they made the game unejoyable for me.

Sometimes, I honor the person who give their all even if they died a lot because they still hang in there. And also the person who assist a lot. Sometimes the kills or objectives won't be obtainable without that wonderful support like a blitz pull or a shield and stuns.

What's distubring about this honor system is that, some people will play nice just get honor in reality they are not. They only playing that way to get honored. It seems that's it's all about now. Before I doubt there was so much honor threads. Just saying.

So yeah, I agree it's not working like it should. but in a way it does since it sorta forces toxic ppl to be less toxic, I guess.

I don't really honor the person with the best scores or the most visible results. Usually it's for their behavior, or that they single handedly made a game changing play when the game was basically a loss. And no, I don't mean the guy who just kills a bunch of people. I mean the support that CC locks the entire enemy team for four seconds while he has 15% of his HP left. It takes balls to do a play like that.

I get tilt proof all the time because I don't bitch at my losing lanes when I'm doing well or blame anyone and I only criticize myself. I think people actually notice and honor me for it, which I gotta admit, I'm always surprised when I get it.
