Does this game really have much left to offer when silent griefing is a celebrated pastime?

Just got out of a game where the support on our team decided he was going to not do anything to help his ADC.

In fact, he would pretend to assist then abandon the player right when his actions would make a difference

The fact that this kind of behavior is going unchecked in LoL is just unforgivable - especially since there is no deterrent or any kind of threat of punishment towards them... This again is another reason why this game needs GMs... much like you'd have an air marshal in an airplane there should be GMs in this game who get queued with 'reported players' and play/observe on a team with said player.

Obviously the GMs would have to be paid in some form, why not pay in IP/RP? Or even minimum wage, hell i'd pay a subscription fee to have the community cleaned up like this.

I bet your occurrences 'verbal' toxic players that you're so concerned about would also go down

Just finding it harder and harder to justify investing time and money in this game anymore... give me a reason RIOT.

Silent trolling is the most dangerous type of trolling in the game because it can't be tracked.

If I'm done with my team, I'm going to sit at base and pretend to be AFK.

If I want to end a game quicker, I'll pick bad fights so the game ends sooner.

I agree but riot doesn't care because this earns them more money, think about it players get trolled over and over again till finally they get upset and say something about the player trolling, then the player who got trolled gets ban instead of the player trolling so eventually good players get ban because of trolls and they get another account re buy things they already had and this happens over and over again and riot earn more money off of it.

Silent trolling usually happens because you BMed someone who isn't trying to climb at the moment and they decided to let you have it.
