ive gotten banned before but im just curios how many honors do you need to unlock it? i got my 14 day ban like 3 or 4 months before i got perma'd and i unlocked the honor but didnt even get level 1 so how does it work?? do you need to play alot or just get alot of honors as well? and no i didnt even realize when i got my honor unlocked. and if u unlocked it tell me how long it took you to get it back
In all honesty leagues honor and penalty isnt working anymore because people report you for the pettyest thing. To me raging IS TALKING LIKE THIS WHILE I COMMEN ON YOUR MOM not saying well thats retarded dude. League is rewarding people for being passiv players who take abuse and its startiing to push me away from communicating with my team. I have a friend who the very first thing he does when hes in game mutes eveyone and ım seriıosuly starting to consider the option.
Last game I played with somone who has multiple accounts and just because he didint get to play the role e wanted instead of dodging he picked urgot and started to steal farm. I DIDINT SAY SINGLE WORD. I recalled and bought a cull and said u know what lets just farm to gether. THEN HE STARTED TO RUN TOWARDS ME WHENEVER HE WAS HIT BY ZILEAN BOMM. ım talking about legit using his dash towards me in order to get a laugh in and push me out of the lane. Towards the end of the game Troll urgot is 7 3 and Im 0 8 because Im ashe( instead of trying to make plays I should have just sit undertower and not care about it , oh wait I COULNT EVEN DO THAT because urgot was picking bombs up and pushing me out of the lane).
I report him. Nothing happons. So much for the insatnt feedback system Next game I say, u know what bad temmates happon once in a while its cool this game let me play sup so there wont be any teamfights. I get a kind of adc that is just as bad and ONCE again.The kind that doesnt use thier heal as u die S-L-O-W-L-Y. even then I DID NOT RAGE. was I salty? absoletly and I did make sarcastic commones but I have not ONCE lost my temper and I still got all the honors taken away from me, and its very frustuarting because the bar or being PC consantly gets pushed higer and higher while complealty devaluing the time where eveyone was raging and I consantly said '' dw boys we got this ''. Just because of 9 game chat ban. literally just for a 9 day chat ban all the honors are taken away meanwhile these people just get to hop on a different account and do the same thing all over again . I actually opened a ticket about it. I literally got banned for saying things like -league is a teamgame and your not a teamplayer Urgot you deserve to lose this- this was my tone. League doesnt want you to make anykind of negative argument agains anyone beacuse they so desperatly want to make sure as many people as possible plays thier game meanwhile not realising allowing toxic people who figured out how to work the chat get away with thier actions push away other plays who sees League as thier main game.
League is a dying game and its staff knows it. Honor is such a klunky system that does not work when you have bots (that any basic coder could make btw) that sift through the comments for "keywords" and "phrases". League is and always will be a toxic game. 99% of the player base is a horrible display and waste of human life that report someone for their own stupidity. If Riot actually cared about a true honor system, they would fix the broken-ass report system that never punishes the true culprits.
Ok, so, i remember i hit lvl 4 honor as any average player at the time and i managed to get a 14 days suspension, my first ever (for a complete bs reason if i may add -.-) exactly 8 months ago. After i got my acc back i vas 'dishonored' or lvl 0 in honors. I stayed lvl 0 for the longest time omg the pain i'm still so salty about it... I was 0 for at least 4 months then i unlocked honors again and I think that's when honors you get from ppl actually start to count. But you have to go trough the unlocked to lvl 1 and it's a pain in the azz you get no keys at all. And even when you get lvl 1, keys are so rare you can honestly unlock chests on every single champion in the game faster then getting a single key fragment -.- i'm so salty u have no clue. long story short i'm now, EIGHT MONTHS LATER, lvl 2 (first checkpoint) even tho i was getting honors almost every game i played (before and after the susp from non-premades) and i never had penalty before. Since 2009 the game has basically been a breeding ground for DOTA rejects that got banned from that toxic waste land already, so this comes as no surprise. The game offers players nothing tangible or really worthwhile. The ladders for ranked are a joke when it comes to reporting those that really bring the game down, and as we all know, those that try will of course get frustrated, whilst trolls that multiple account spam will always get away with things in the broken RIOT system. Dying game indeed and so be it.
Lmfao, after reading some comments, this is some Orwellian isht. In dota you have to win 3x games on bad servers and you are ready to go, here tho is just absurd. Everyone, absolutely everyone rages and starts typing from time to time, and obviously an insult will slip, but cmon... NOBODY honors each other if something ban worthy comes out, and most of insults are passive aggresive as hell where RIOT system wont ever notice actual insult there, those are the biggest cancer of the game imho, id rather hear racial slur in my face than passive/aggro bs. But w/e.
I guess bank is big on them keys and perma banning accs.
I got dishonorable after a 14 day suspension, ended may 3rd 2018 (if i remember correctly) i've only played a few games here or there, and up to 6 games on saturday and sunday since. I've received a good number of random's honors. Playing with friends we honor the randoms we play with, instead of each other. Yesterday, 29th of May 2018, I received my honor back.
Previously to getting de-honored, i was very honorable, and personally believe the reason I got de-honored was bs, as the other person (who had nothing happen to them to date) just was in the game to troll and flame. I basically cursed them out and what not. etc... got suspended.
so, it took me less than a month to get honor back. I haven't played any games since being put to honorable again. Also, i'm not sure how long it will take to get to level 1 honor, but i can update this post when i do.. if anyone is interested.
I don’t honor team mates. I’m at 0 and it won’t climb. I got chat restricted for BS reason, by some little shit waffle. As long as I don’t get anything I will never honor a team mate because it was a team mate behind me not getting anything. I will also never honor any 2, 3 or 4man premades because they never honor any one but their friends.
Also, I have gotten to the point where if I notice people on my team are in a premade, they get muted instantly.
well from what ive heard it takes about 20 to 50 games of no toxicity, i recently got a 14 day ban for saying 'kys' after getting first blood and it apparently "pissed off" the yasou and out of nowhere he just started saying "EnJOy Ur BAn" i didnt really think anything was gonna happen considering that ive reported many people saying kys i even have some screenshots, but apparently i did get due to being toxic, the rest of the game i was just talking with a friend through chat while i listened to him talking in vc, is almost impossible not to get a ban considering that having someone toxic in your team makes you toxic, before this my honor was locked because i just started mocking how a person was claiming they were playing since s2 and didnt know what inting was, now here is the thing he was just giving the other team kills and this got me mad but i didnt really say anything bad in the start and then he starts being toxic and gets me into his problem which makes me get mad and be toxic, the person who i talked to in riot support was really nice and explained how i can get the honor unlocked, by not being toxic but as i said is almost impossible if there is toxic people in ur team, it just lures you in, riot expects us to mute them the whole game and not say a single word but if you mute the person then how will you be able to communicate with him like what happens if he wants to reform and not be toxic?? riots punishing system is really questionable, it discourages people from actually trying, they should really fix why they decided why to ban people.
Riot is really a stupid company. When people in my team fed, report never work. And I wasn't playing well, and my teammate was bullying on me. I was feeding one time and got reported, they suspend my account for 13 days. That's gross. I will just uninstall. Why you guys just go after the motherfucker who bullied me at the beginning? Stupid company. Gross players. Harmful environment. Unfair judgement.
it could just be convenient timing but i dont believe it, but i have had my honor locked then after reporting a player my honor was unlocked shortly after if i get a message saying a player i reported was issued a penalty. could just be convenient timing but it's happened twice for me so i am skeptical about it.
Half a year. Or 2 days if you have your friend log in and boost your honor.
Several matchmade games. Games are recorded on an account-long basis, and you want to be non toxic for less than 10 games per 100 to maintain good standing. If you are reported and the report is fair at a rate of higher than 10% in the last 100, your account remains in a state of high-risk and until justified report rates fall below that threshold, you run a high risk of suspension.
There is no middle-ground. You either are or aren't unsportsmanlike. And if you are, you want to become a good sport!
Given numbers are arbitrary but this the way it works.

it's not just getting honor that matters. every legit report against you keeps you from unlocking honor i believe so you also need clean behavior.

You see the fact you got perma'd is the whole reason u didn't have honor. I talked to a rioter about this sometime back and they said once you reform you will get your honor back. Seeing how you were perma'd you were not reformed..no reform no honor
It takes a few months of consistent play, while showing signs of positivity and no relapses of insults, blame/flame, and sarcasm. You can be reported and not punished after you have come back from a ban, and if those reports are deemed valid, it can still reset your 'redeeming' standing back to 0.
So be positive (not necessarily sunshine and rainbows, just be a good influence), play consistently, and don't relapse. Several people have posted here celebrating their return to honorable standing, so you will get there eventually too.
