So after several games of being silent and minding my own business REGARDLESS of how toxic my teams have been, i just come out of a game where our mid and top were flaming EVERYONE and i get a warning saying i was reported for offensive language? Does this mean it went through the tribunal or is it riots knee jerk reaction to warn and possibly punish those who are reported by trolling players?
The warning notification you get only means that your account has received more reports than usual lately, that's it. Now, one of the most important things to note about the system that sends out these warnings is that, unlike the actual punishment system, it doesn't actually check the validity of reports, so it's entirely possible to receive them due to false reports. So, if you absolutely know that you did nothing wrong, you really don't have to worry about it.
That being said, if you find yourself receiving a lot of these warnings in a short period of time, it might be wise to check your in game behavior just in case, because it's possible that you might be on tilt or something and not really realizing that you are saying/doing stuff that are unacceptable.
