What meets criteria for a ban?

Two games ago I had an (autofilled I'm assuming) support player that says "Me jungle u supp". I reply with "Uh sorry but I'm jungle". He / she proceeds to pick teemo with smite and follow me around the jungle smite sniping when my smite is on CD.

My point and question is basically : Is role stealing bannable? And if so, how many "role steals" would it take to entice a ban? This automated ban system is for the birds imo. I've reported people I was just kinda tilted at and saw the ban notification but still nothing on this slick Teemo.

Btw, no this is not Bronze... Plat 3.. Well I'm guessing it's not too far off in the end.

Trolling currently requires a manual gameplay review, and they are severely backlogged.

I was queued up for support in flex, but I had someone steal my role (honestly, who steals support???). But it happens. Just make sure you report malicious actions/activity/chat in the post-game report, with a note about whatever happened in champion select, and in your case, a note about what happened in game.

Trolls rarely get banned, if he said anything that you could consider "toxic" he might get hit with a chat restrict though!

A permaban does not need criteria, at any point riot may lock you out of your account, for any or even no reason at all. << criteria. This is mostly incase of their game shutting down, but riot my do what ever they want its what you agree to, when you hit agree.

You can be banned for anything if you get reported a lot. Riot even says in their ToS that they can ban you for nothing.

At that point that's just trolling/griefing. Player is deliberately trying to ruin the game for one or more people.
