....is atrocious. I know plat players on smurf who struggle to get out of this elo because of this problem: There are so many new players being put on either team that it is just total random that you will have a ding dong who doesnt know how to play at all on your team and they will feed their ass off/ troll/ afk.

Why does Riot not fix this? It is fucking hard to get through this. There will be one new player on just one team. People are buying new accounts to troll on even. People are playing duo q with boosters. This elo is a total mess very poor quality matchmaking. I just wish there was no reset. I was gold 3 and the games were almost all pretty evenly matched(at least compared to this) and it was competitive and very enjoyable.

I hate this so much and the players i reported are not even punished for trolling and afk. I didnt flame them or anything. So frustrating :(

Ya I don't play ranked this early in the season really.. I did my placements but they were so sporadic with skill differences that I'm just gonna wait till later to try ranking up. Gotta let people settle into their proper ranks. That's just how it goes. They can't watch individuals to see how they perform throughout a match. So if a newb gets carried, it simply counts as a win. That's understandable... I mean, it's just the way ladders work. Good luck in future games.
