Is it ethical to leave a game because of a bug that would cause a remake? Should you get banned?
Please think and vote about how you feel. Ignore the yes/no.

You don't get banned for leaving games unless you do it way to often.
I'm not understanding your title. If you leave a game before 3 minutes, it's a remake, and you lose LP or get leaver buster based on it.
There are some things that could cause a remake for the pros where leaving would be an overreaction for us.
If an Anivia q stun should have landed on 4 people during an important teamfight, but somehow didn't, the pros can pause and have the refs check it out. If it was bugged, there's the option for a remake. Such a thing could cause a loss if it happened to you, but leaving has exactly the same consequences (except 100% loss instead of just the %), so it's unfair to your team for you to rage-quit.
If Aurelion Sol's boop circle is invisible, that would cause a remake for the pros, and it would also be fine for you to leave that game (in my opinion). Without vision of his boop circle, you have no ability to outplay with positioning. It would be incredibly frustrating to play against.
If Gragas throws a cask, but it disappears into the scenery and locks him out of using any of his skills for the rest of the game: again, that would cause a remake and it would also be fine for you to leave that game. It is impossible to have a positive impact on the game when you can only right click as a Gragas.
My line of thought is that if it is a game breaking bug and constantly happening, then I would ethically support you from leaving.
If it is just 1 bug where Reksai unburrows on a target that is being knocked up by Alistar and the target flies above the screen limit (flies off screen), and you can't reproduce it, then I wouldn't say it's ethical as it just affects your gameplay for that 1 time.
