I saw over 200 chatlogs on this board, but i dont get whats wrong with this one

its my first punishement since i play (season 1) and i seriously dont see the problem. what excatly did i do besides telling ppl that asking to report and lying about "he is afk/trolling" is against the rules i did nothing. AND I GOT A RIBBON FOR THAT for helpful XD i do that SINCE MONTHS i tell ppl flame asking to report afk etc is against the rules and can get the banned. i always did that!

XD k XD i feed? LOOOLOLOLOL i got 4 kills in bot ME ALONE XD i did the most in this game but k XD and another kill set up by me <3 gg wp all the salty tears and flame made this game kinda fun XD

This is also your second punishment in 2-week, so you should take that into account as well. The system looks for people who show a pattern of behavior the community has deemed as unacceptable.

i only got this 1 game in the mail/client. also it is a 10 game CR. shouldnt the 2nd one be 25 games?

Punishments can immediately be escalated to a 2-week or permaban status if the case in question is severe enough (i.e. death threats, racist comments, etc.).

EDIT: Additionally, like Riot Tantram said (and I can't believe that I forgot to add this in earlier), it is possible to drop down a punishment tier if you show enough effort to reform and improve your behavior for the better.

You need to login to the client to retrieve all 3 games. The emailed content is very limited, which can cause confusion.

The 2nd punishment in an escalated punishment is 25-games. You punishment was not escalated because you demonstrated good behavior long enough after your punishment to go down a tier.

You don't see what is wrong with spamming and going after teammates? There's also the bit about being a sore loser (or winner, the context doesn't make it clear).

where did i spam? that was a almost 40min game and where did i go after teammates wtf? i told jhin that spamming in allchat that i flame and afk all the time is not needet since its 1. a lie 2. doesnt get me banned faster and 3. is against the rules.

and im not salty at all XD i got 10 games cr on my smurf couldnt care less XD not to mention i still have my ribbons XD

Well, you said you couldn't see what the problem was, I told you what I saw.

What I see is you spamming the fuck out of team chat, accusing people of AFKing, trolling etc. Whether you want to call it spamming or not is your prerogative, but you need to understand that Riot does not care what you define as spam. What I see is VERY MUCH within the boundaries of what Riot has considered spam (correctly in my opinion). If you want to avoid further punishments, I encourage you to drop the creative definition of spam.

This is easily a reportable chat log, and easily a punishable chat log. If you meet a moron in game, just mute him and report him after the game. That's all.

Calling for reports is considered harassment and it doesn't solve anything either. All it does is encourage a troll to troll harder or discourage/makes it harder for an already poor performing player from improving/to imrpove their performance. From Ulanopo's Knowledge Base:

“If reports are the preferred response to toxicity, why can’t I ask for reports?”

First off, Riot has set up the case-building algorithm in such a way that multiple reports for a single game don’t really accelerate the process. The system uses “report density” – the percentage of games in which you were reported in preference to raw reports. While a greater number of reports increases the likelihood that a specific match will appear as one of the five cases shown to jurors, this isn’t a reason to ask for reports.

The reason we tell you not to go report begging is that it’s quite possibly the most toxic behavior you can exhibit. Just using the word causes people to become angry and defensive.

“I ask for reports because they were ruining my fun and I want to make sure they are punished.”

Yeah, I know. People suck. A lot. And it’s natural to be angry with them. What you can’t do, however, is harass them and “report begging” is generally considered to be harassment. Riot has said that “reported” is the most toxic word in League.

I would hate having to play with someone who constantly comments on every little thing I do, especially someone who, after a teammate apparently died after making a bad call, went on and on about it and seemed to imply that I did it on purpose. You have a bragging and self-righteous attitude, both in this chatlog and in your reply to an earlier post here.

Sometimes (can't really judge that here, since we lack the rest of the chat), I also report people for keeping the flame going. Some of the things you said could have thrown oil on the fire, as the saying goes. Even if it isn't flaming in itself, it doesn't contribute to an enjoyable game. Don't goad players who are already tilted.

And, as someone else pointed out, telling people that their unhappiness made it more fun for you is a horrible thing to do. That's like walking past a beggar on the streat and going "ha-ha!"

To be fair, it's true that the chat wasn't exactly positive and friendly, and it most likely contributed to initiate the endless speech fight. However, something negative isn't necessarily considered harassment. I wouldn't consider it chat spam either; OP simply had a lot of things he wanted to express, not like he was filling the entire chat with pointless texts to annoy others maliciously.

Overall, nothing was said in an acceptably constructive manner. Sure, what OP said wasn't nice, but I fail to identify anything that has gotten to the point of going against any term. However, if there are other matches involved in this punishment then that may be a different story.
