Riot, botting is seriously getting out of control!

Every single bot game I play for my first win there is at least 1-3 bots on my team. It's seriously getting out of hand! Riot really needs to crack down on this! It's so obvious too, the bots always do the same thing. They take heal and smite, go afk farm the jungle all game long, get executed half a dozen times, have no kill participation and no damage dealt to champions at the end of the game. It literally seems like Riot just doesn't care. But they sure as hell should. This sort of thing is very detrimental to the new player experience. You wanna know what the worst part is? Even though its obvious as hell that these accounts are using third party programs to level their account and you report them after game for cheating, I have yet to even get ONE notification saying that a player has been punished. That's just absurd! I don't understand how Riot can just ignore this epidemic we have on our hands. It just pisses me off that players are too lazy to level up an account on their own. You get all these punished players who lost their account using botting to level up another account and they'll just turn around and be toxic all over again. How can Riot claim to care about player behavior when they just let botting get this widespread and still do nothing about it. I would greatly appreciate a comment from a Rioter on this subject and I would like to get a straight answer on where they stand on botting and if they plan to do anything about it. There have been plenty of front page boards posts about this and yet Riot remains silent. I just don't understand how they can just ignore the situation. And if they do truly care, please just say something and let us know that you are aware of the situation and are at least brainstorming solutions.

Admittedly I stopped reading like halfway.

They do ban these bots. They don't do it immediately though. They ban the bots in waves every few months and there is reason for such.

Which do you think is better: banning every bot the moment confirmed is a bot or waiting and banning a bunch at once? At a quick glance you would say the former, but here is the problem with that. The bot creators can gather data using that method. Bot gets banned, change some code, try again, repeat if necessary.

You do not get notification in any way for botting/scripting punishments, this is to prevent people from understanding what they can and cannot detect.

Whats wrong with botting till 30? Sounds like it'd be a nice way to get a fresh new smurf. If riot wants to cut down on botting, they should let players get instant lvl 30 accounts.

If riot would stop banning people for saying the F word or offending a 0/10 jungler, the botters would run out of business. If Jesus himself had a LoL account, he would've been banned.

I always pray for bots on my team. Unfortunately I only get them in like 1 out of every 3 games or so. But I do understand how they are a problem and Riot has said before that they track these bot accounts and pursue legal action with the sites that sell the accounts. Basically, they don't want to ban individual accounts, they want to catch whole waves of them and sue their creators/sellers.

I am going to rage quit because of all the bots. Do you know how annoying it is when you try to play a legit game and you have one or two bots on your team? It ruins the entire match. I don't know about other people, but I don't play LOL so I can wait 10 mins to get into a game only to realize two people on my team are going to feed the whole game and not help the team in any way. Tilts me so hard.
