Do ragequitters just get a 20 minute wait?

I just had a Lucian quit exactly after he died the 4th time, literally exactly after he died and never attempted to reconnect. How can a system know if the guy ragequit or just had to leave? He got caught out and just ragequit, plain and simple, and all they apparently get is a 20 minute timer, if I'm reading the system correctly? So I can ragequit if I am willing to wait 20 minutes?

I mean, if you're willing to eat the guaranteed loss (even if your team wins), and the increasing leaverbuster punishment. Then yeah.

Yeah. Leaverbuster doesn't hand out actual bans anymore.

you'll also get 14-day banned if you do it consistently enough and manually reviewed.
